Responsibilities:

Client Lead and Project Manager: You will lead client engagements and be trusted to be the main point of contact for queries. You'll coordinate and liaise with clients, colleagues and HMRC to ensure claims are optimised and that we meet agreed deadlines.
Subject Matter Expert: You'll have a strong understanding of technical concepts within Technology and Software, as well as R&D tax.
Financial R&D Knowledge: You will have a strong understanding of the financial aspects of the claim process. Including, in depth knowledge of the costing categories, understanding of the benefits available and how these are processed within the relevant tax documentation, financial data analysis skills.
Spokesperson: You'll be able to take part in sales & marketing activities, such as roundtables, networking, and webinars. You'll work with the marketing team on thought leadership and have your ideas published in the press.
Mentor and Leader: You'll help manage and mentor Associate Consultants and Consultants, supporting leadership with the management of the IT teams, including reporting, training and process improvement.
Quality Controller: You'll ensure that each project is assessed technically per HMRC guidelines and that the team follows Ayming's industry-leading quality control procedures.

Rational and Persuasive: You'll work within the more challenging areas/ methodologies of R&D tax whilst building compelling viewpoints and rationale behind decisions and thought processes.
Able to see the Bigger Picture: You'll be able to identify risk and technical matters, as well as commercial opportunities, discussing them with senior leadership.
