Assistant National Sales ManagerCovering the South & East Region
Parkwood is one of the leading leisure management companies in the UK, currently operating 75 leisure centres, 4 theatres and 4 outdoor activity venues on behalf of 25 Local Authority clients. The company has enjoyed steady and consistent growth since its inception in 1995, and now manages revenues in excess of 85m per annum.
The Leisure Business offers :
- 18 million leisure centre visitors
- 100,000 monthly health and fitness and swimming members on
direct debits
- Over 35,000 swimming lesson participants
each week.
- 1000 cultural events delivered to over 250,000
people
- 700+ sports events delivered each year
This position is to provide greater support to 17 of our sites to achieve our sales, revenue and net gain targets for swimming and fitness memberships across the country.
As Assistant National Sales Manager you will be responsible for:
- Implementing sales
strategies across approximately 17 sites.
- The commercial
performance of all membership sales revenue within your sites and
improving membership net gain performance across these sites.
- Working as part of the central sales and marketing team, but
collaborating across the wider organisation.
- This role
will support the Head of Sales in the delivery of Parkwood sales and
net gain numbers across all Parkwood sites. Reporting daily sales
performance and questioning and interrogating below budget performance
at individual sites.
- This role will take ownership of our
Atreemo back office CRM system to ensure all centres are recording
their sales leads and appointments enabling you to report and manage
individual sales performance with the Centre Managers.
- You will be expected to deliver regular sales and membership
assistant training to site based staff, assessing and signing off OTE
eligibility, as well as completing regular site sales audits.
- You will be required to provide analysis on performance with
recommendations into the operating structure. Most importantly help to
ensure that our teams really put sales at the heart of everything we
do, driving a sales, retention, customer service and accountability
culture.
- Experience of managing
activity levels, sales journey's and delivering member net gain
improvements
- Minimum of two year's experience managing
within a sales environment
- Experience of delivering sales
training
- Good knowledge and previous experience of
managing and using a CRM system
- Previous people
management experience
- Strong oral and written
communication skills required
- Strong commercial awareness
and business acumen
- Excellent communication and
Influencing skills
- A completer / finisher
- Good IT skills
- Customer focus
- Experience of delivering sales training
- Experience in a pre-sales environment
- University
degree in a related field is a bonus
- Nationwide travel is
essential, therefore a car and a full driving license is required
