Corporate Tax Assistant Manager
£65,000 + bonus & benefits
London, hybrid working model with 3 office days
A specialist, UK-headquartered financial services consultancy business is recruiting an ambitious Assistant Tax Manager to join their high-performing team in the City of London. Reporting to the Senior Corporate Tax Manager, the successful candidate will collaborate within a mid-sized tax team and liaise with wider stakeholders in finance, commercial and investment functions.
The successful candidate’s responsibilities will be balanced between corporate tax compliance/reporting and corporate/international tax advisory, in accordance with seasonal demands and projects. There is additionally scope for involvement in wider taxes.
This is an unusual, quasi in-house opportunity which combines both group tax and market-facing elements. We anticipate this opportunity will best suit the recently qualified tax professional who is interested to move in-house but enjoys the client-facing, commercial aspects of consultancy.
The successful candidate:
- Recently ACA/CTA qualified (or nearing completion)
- Solid UK corporation tax compliance and advisory experience
- Some level of tax accounting experience
- Must be of a client-facing calibre, likely having trained in a Big 4/Top 10 enviornment
- Financial services experience considered advantageous
