Associate Building Physics Engineer
Job Details
Full Job Description
A passionate Building Physics Engineer is sought to join the either
the Newcastle, London or Birmingham offices of this large consultancy
with a developing team of Building Physicists and
modellers.
Working across all sectors you could be involved
with a new build hospital one day to an advanced manufacturing plant
or data centre the next.
The only commonality is that you'll be
with like-minded souls who want to provide better solutions through
sharing their building physics knowledge.
We are looking for
someone who is used to working at Senior Building Physics Engineer
level or above, so not only will you need to have excellent modelling
skills, but also be familiar with leading a small team, mentoring
others and monitoring outputs.
You need not have a building
services design background but must be something of an expert with
using IES-VE.
Knowledge of NABERS or TM54 would be useful and
ideally, you will be a level 4 or 5 LCEA. Naturally you will be happy
completing calculations, and reports and helping to guide others
through their learning curves.
On offer is an exceptional
salary, hybrid working, flexible hours and a car allowance plus other
benefits taking your package into the region of 78000 depending on
location.
With their hybrid working, you will need to be close
enough to London, Newcastle or Birmingham to work from the office two
days a week; they are more towards the remote side of hybrid than
most!
