Associate - Town Planning

Penguin Recruitment is pleased to be supporting a dynamic independent planning and development consultancy in their hire of an experienced Associate Planner to their rapidly growing London based team.

As part of the team, you will be working in a collaborative, dynamic environment specialising in large scale regeneration projects, nationally significant infrastructure projects and housing developments. As an Associate you will lead on major aspects of very large and complex projects across all consenting regimes and will take responsibility of the management of junior colleagues on projects.

Candidate Requirements:

• RTPI accredited degree or equivalent qualification.
• MRTPI or eligible for membership and in pursuit.
• Experience of medium and large-scale projects ideally including infrastructure and mixed-use regeneration schemes.
• Excellent understanding of UK planning system and planning law.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to mentor and guide junior planners within the team.
