At Home Care Assistant

Home Instead is an award winning family run homecare business in Yeovil with another business in Taunton. We are professional, agile, fast-paced, and our goal is 'Making sure the living is easy' for our clients. With minimum 1 hour visit times, you will have enough time to support "Mary" with preparing her lunch whilst having a good natter about what has been happening in all the soaps. Assist "Jack" getting up in the morning and looking his best for his family gathering, whilst reminiscing over the good old days. Would you like to encourage "Sandra" to get back to playing the piano which she loved doing when she was younger.

There are so many different ways you could support people in the community for them to lead a more fulfilling lives. Previous experience is not necessary as we provide full training and support throughout your entire employee life cycle. • A willing, positive, compassionate approach to assist and support people within your local community.
• Valid Driver's licence
• Due to the remote location's of some client's, access to reliable form of transport such as car is essential.
• B1 Motor Insurance (for business use)
• Be able to make a commitment of a minimum of 10 hours per week including availability on every other weekend
• Be living in or around the Sherborne, Dorset area

• Flexible Schedule  - Mixture of days and times, 2 weekly rotas in advance, templated visits with well matched clients. (Preferred availability 7am - 12pm / 12pm - 6pm / 4pm - 10pm / 7pm - 10pm)
• Workload to suit you  - full time and part time hours to suit your needs (minim of 10h per week)
• Highest rates of pay in the area -  double pay on Bank Holidays
