Au Pair wanted in Darwin to start asap for up to 12 months - opportunity in Australia

Full Job Description

I am a single mum with twin boys currently 2 1/2 months old (corrected age) looking for a live in au pair to start as soon as possible to provide an extra set of hands in the mornings and evenings.

Ideal candidate would be female, non-smoker, English speaking and looking to be an au pair with our family for 6 to 12 months (although I would be happy to have a shorter arrangement).
Driver's license is not required although you would have access to a vehicle.

A bit more about us....
Our little family is made up of myself and my twin boys… and the Village!

My house is in the Northern suburbs in Darwin, which is ten minutes from the city centre and major shopping centres and also ten minutes from beaches and 5 minutes from the main sports complexes and airport.

I am a long term Darwin resident but it is a great place to move to for a short time as it has a very transient population and is easy to meet people and make friends.

There are also always lots of different events on and things happening all the time.

A typical week for our family at the moment is a bit unknown! Although our days are fairly routine right now, as the boys continue to grow and develop I’m sure things will keep evolving. My days are currently spent around feeding, nursing, tummy time, burping, bathing and trying to eat and shower myself.

The au pair role in the household would start with help in the mornings and evenings for two to three hours to help with feeding, bathing and putting down to sleep for the night.

Our au pair would live in the guest bedroom and would share a bathroom. Pocket money would start at a minimum $300 with extra hours/pay to be negotiated if required.

I have a trip to Adelaide planned for the end of this month, the au pair would be able to come with me on this trip.
