Due to continued growth, our client is keen to appoint an experienced Typist to support the business!

This is an exciting opportunity and a newly created role for an individual who has a background in secretarial and administration support, but is keen to progress to offering more tailored and individual support on a one-to-one basis.

  • £25,000 per annum
  • NG1, NO PARKING
  • Office based, Mon – Fri, 9.00am – 5.30pm

 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform accurate and efficient audio typing tasks, transcribing various documents from audio recordings.
  • Proof read and edit transcriptions for accuracy, grammar and formatting.
  • Handle administrative tasks including data entry, filing and general office duties.
  • Assist in organising and maintaining office records and documentation.
  • Answer phone calls and respond to enquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Coordinate appointments and meetings, ensuring schedules are efficiently managed.

 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in audio typing or transcription is ESSENTIAL
  • Strong proficiency in typing and word processing software
  • Excellent command of English grammar, spelling and punctuation
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
