This position requires an Audit Senior who will be responsible for leading and overseeing audits within the professional services industry. The role is based in London and involves supporting team members throughout the process

Description

• Lead and supervise audits across all stages for various client sectors
• Supervise and provide guidance to a team of auditors.
• Prepare and present audit reports to clients and senior management.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external policies and regulations.
• Work closely with clients to understand their business operations and risks.
• Identify areas of improvement and provide recommendations to clients.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards and regulations.
• Contribute to the development of the department's strategies and goals.

Profile

A successful Audit Senior should have:

• An academic background in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• ACA/ ACCA qualification
• Proven experience in a similar role within a UK based accountancy firm
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and auditing techniques. (IFRS and UKGAAP in particular)
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
