Mechanical CAD Designer

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing GA layouts, detail drawings, assembly drawings, sketches & diagrams
• Preparing detailed manufacturing drawings, checking dimension of parts, materials to be used, relation of one part to another and parts to the whole assembly
• Preparing design concepts for bid purposes
• Preparing electrical schematic drawings using 2D or AutoCAD electrical packages
• Preparing Mechanical Designs using 3D modelling software

Qualifications and Requirements

• HNC in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• AutoCAD 2D, AutoCAD Electrical, and Inventor 3D Modelling Software.
• Drafting techniques knowledge and familiarity with engineering terminology.
• Mechanical aptitude, capable of performing basic mathematical calculations.
• Travel to client sites as required and learn and adapt to new situations.
