Your new role

As our new Autodesk Software Specialist, you will be part of the Buildings Market Technology and Digital Design Team. You will help us continue our journey of ever-increasing digitalisation and enhanced productivity through better use of technology. You will help us support and manage a wide portfolio of technology tools focusing specifically on our Autodesk suite.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Management of our technical software portfolio including working with our IT and packaging teams to help prepare the latest versions of our tools to keep our software up to date.
  • Help to evaluate new technical software and technologies for Ramboll integration and stay informed on best practices for usage of our key tools including Revit, Autodesk Construction Cloud used in Ramboll.
  • Provide support for project teams at project start-up and give direction on the application of specific technologies.
  • Manage support tickets relating to our engineering tools, particularly Autodesk Applications, through our Help Desk.
  • Support the continuing business digital transformation and automation of workflows to increase productivity.

Your new team

You will be part of the Buildings Market Technology and Digital Design Team. This is a small central team that looks after digital design tools and initiatives across the Buildings market globally. We are looking for someone to help us continue our journey of ever-increasing digitalisation and enhanced productivity through process automation. You will do this through the effective use and support of a wide portfolio of technology tools focusing specifically on our Autodesk tool suite. Ramboll operates a flexible working policy, and with this you will be part of a team of experts, who work together whilst being located in several of our European offices.

These include:

Proven experience in design, drafting, modelling, or engineering production plus relevant software management experience specifically Autodesk Tools including Revit and ACC

  • A Degree level qualification in an Engineering discipline would be an advantage.
  • Expert working knowledge of our key delivery tools Autodesk Revit
  • Experience in multi-disciplinary Project delivery and direct experience in a discipline or market related to Ramboll’s key activities in the UK.
  • Passion for technology in design is essential and an interest in software programming, graphical interfaces or scripting would be an advantage.
