Location: Homebased with nationwide travel

About the Role

To be responsible for planning and conducting professional management system audits to enable delivery of assessment and certification services that meet the client’s requirements and appropriate accreditation standards.

Responsibilities include:

• Undertake third party audits (at the client site, blended or fully remote) across BRCS Food Safety in accordance with internal and external requirements.
• Ensure the accuracy, quality and delivery of all audit reports and additional materials in line with agreed timescales.
• Work closely with the scheduling team internally and communicate any constraints.
• Deliver customer excellence, ensuring that all client enquiries are dealt with in a timely manner.
• Identify commercial opportunities for growth.
• Undertake personal professional development and ensure appropriate training records and personal logs are updated to maintain relevant auditor registration and relevant industry knowledge.

About You

Experience & Skills

• Broad experience of carrying out either third-party or second-party audits
• Demonstrate strong working knowledge and experience of management system standards, compliance and auditing techniques
• Excellent organisational skills
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Excellent organisational skills
• Full and valid UK driving license essential

• Lead Auditor Training
• HACCP training or justification 
• BRCGS Scheme training, BRCGS Food Safety Issue 9 training
• Educated to degree level or equivalent
