We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, motivated and experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join one of our client's services based in Greater London with an immediate START!

End Date: Ongoing

Working Pattern:: Full time/ Part time

Essential Skills:

*

Will need experience in the assessment, treatment and management of complex neurological conditions including Stroke, Spinal Cord Injuries and Traumatic Brain Injuries.

*

You will be expected to manage a caseloads for patients. You will provide up to an hour of daily input to these patients alongside other physio’s, OTs and rehabilitation assistants using a range of therapeutic adjuncts.

*

There will be an expectation to “link-work” 1-2 of your patients. This means you will coordinate the care and discharge planning of that patient, liaising with family members and chairing meetings where appropriate.

*

Accurate and timely documentation onto systmOne will then be required for each patient. As well as handing over any relevant information to the MDT.

Requirements:

*

Must be HCPC registered.

*

Right to work in the UK.

*

DBS on update service

*

HCPC registered Occupational therapist

*

Min 3yrs post grad experience as OT

*

Significant NHS experience as an OT working with adult patients who have had a stroke

*

Significant NHS experience as an OT working with adult patients in the community

*

Post grad training related to stroke rehab

*

Experience working in a MDT

*

Car owner and driver

*

Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
