Band 7 - CBT Therapist - IAPT - London - Remote - Newly qualified candidate applications are welcomed

An exciting new opportunity has opened for a Qualified High-Intensity Band 7 CBT Therapist to join a dynamic talking therapies NHS team based in London. The appointed Cognitive behavioural therapist will be able to start as soon as possible, working full-time hours remotely with some on-site visits within an exciting IAPT service. The post holder will be working on a locum basis for an initial 3 months with a view to extending.  As this is a band 7/8a position, our client will also welcome Newly Qualified Psychologists as well as experienced candidates.   

• A post graduate diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
• Full BABCP accreditation
• Completed LTC training
• Extensive Mental Health experience
• The ability to develop good therapeutic relationships with clients
• Be comfortable providing 1:1 or group consultation (face-to-face and via telephone)
• An IAPT supervision course is ideal, but not essential for the role
• Be empathetic and understanding
