Full Job Description

An exciting new opportunity has opened for a Qualified High-Intensity Band 8a CBT Therapist or Psychologist to join a dynamic talking therapy NHS IAPT team based in London. The role is available to start ASAP, working full-time hours per week for an ongoing period.

The postholder will conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to determine the most appropriate therapeutic interventions and deliver evidence-based treatment to individuals and groups referred to the IAPT service. Previous experience of working in field of neuropsychiatry would be desirable, experience of using EPJS patient record system would be desirable, and BABCP Accreditation is required.

To be considered for this role applying therapists must have the following:
  • A postgraduate diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy/Psychology
  • Full BABCP accreditation
  • Completed LTC training
  • Extensive Mental Health experience
  • The ability to develop good therapeutic relationships with clients
  • Be comfortable providing 1:1 or group consultation (face-to-face and via telephone)
  • An IAPT supervision course is ideal, but not essential for the role
  • Be empathetic and understanding
