Full Job Description

Pulse is currently seeking a band 8a Clinical Psychologist with excellent interpersonal skills, to join our fantastic client’s CAMHS Neurodevelopmental and Learning Disabilities Team based in London. This vacancy is available to start as soon as possible, offering full-time hours for a 4–5-month period.  

The post holder will be responsible for providing highly specialist therapy to children, offering interventions and treatments. The post-holder will offer services to children, young people, and their families referred to the CAMHS Neurodevelopmental and Learning Disabilities team. They will work alongside other team members to deliver assessment and intervention to the children, their families, the schools they attend, social workers and other agencies that are also involved in their care. Additionally, the post-holder will be part of the Duty and Urgent Slot rota, which may include assessments of children and young people without NDLD. The post holder will join a well-established team staffed by an experienced multi-disciplinary team and receive high-quality supervision from an 8b clinical psychologist.

To be considered for this role, you must:
  • Hold a doctorate in either Clinical or Counselling Psychology
  • Be HCPC registered
  • Have a proven track record in a CAMHS environment
  • Be analytical and show good attention to detail
