We run the largest NHS flexible staff bank, placing highly skilled temporary workers in NHS Trusts to meet their short, medium and long-term  needs. We are currently seeking an exciting opportunity for Bank Management Consultant  to  join our Bank Management team. Our Bank Management team is a  Centralised team of Bank Management Consultants who own a defined caseload of Bank Only workers. They support their in-life experience working as NHSP Flexible Bank Members.  The Bank Management Consultants are regionally aligned so they can work closely with local Trust Services Teams to understand their demand and proactively increase shift fill. The team are a proactive function put in place to support the key areas of the business. 

You will play a critical role in ensuring our bank members feel valued, enabled and engaged to deliver safely and effectively in their roles. Your role is crucial to help build an emotional commitment from our bank members through providing the highest level of service and engagement.

Please note - there will be a requirement to be on site at our Trust location in Devon at certain point of the year and the remainder of the role is hybrid / working from home. 
What you will be doing:  
  • Responsible for holding a case load of bank members and ensuring they have everything they need to enable them to successfully and safely delivery in their roles for example, appropriate role/ward induction, system access.
  • Ensuring your caseload is optimized in relation to shift fill.
  • Being instrumental in creating an inclusive team and inclusive approach towards our bank members.
  • Act as their single point of contact for issues raised to you as their caseload holder, ensuring that any issues are promptly resolved, and learning shared to inform future service improvements.
  • Creating a schedule for keeping in contact with your case load through appropriate means of communication such as group sessions, personal calls, emails, letter and text.
  • Responding pro-actively to offer support where a member’s shift fill falls below their specified commitment, looking to understand the drivers and assist them in overcoming any barriers they have that are causing the reduction in commitment. Such as, exploring alternative opportunities, resolving any customer service matters.
About The Candidate
 To be successful in this role you will need:   
  • Experience within an office based customer service driven environment is essential 
  • Previous recruitment experience is also desirable
  • The ability to work under pressure and own your own workload
  • Experience using all channels of communication including verbal and written 
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Strong decision-making and  problem-solving skills
