Full Job Description

Who will you be supporting?
  • We are different in lots of ways (that’s what makes us so interesting) with our ages ranging between 44 and 66
  • We have different challenges in our lives which include visual and hearing impairment, autism, downs syndrome and learning disabilities
  • We are fun loving, kind, caring, considerate.
What is important to us?
  • We enjoy spending time on our own in our own flats
  • We enjoy listening to music, visiting cinema, parks, watching shows and local coffee shops.
  • We would not enjoy people who are bossy, pushy, running around, shouting or very noisy as it would tend to make a few of us upset and anxious.
 
Other information?
  • There is always at least 3 colleagues on shift throughout the day
  • We have a Sleep-In shift
  • In order to support us to have the Best Life Possible our team have specialist training in hearing impairment, autism and learning disabilities.
  • We have lovely parks nearby.
  • Good bus and train links in easy access
