Full Job Description

Kestrel HR  are delighted to be working with Graysons  again, this time looking to help build an outstanding team for an iconic venue, soon to fully re-open after a stunning £60m refurbishment in the heart of Bristol .

The venue will host up to 2,000 guests and is destined to become a beacon for live music, with its incredible acoustics.

In addition to live events, they'll be hosting conferences, graduations, weddings and, if fact, any events the space will lend itself to.

There'll be a high street feel restaurant and bar serving lunch and dinner, with weekend brunches, along with four venue-focussed bar spaces and a beautiful member's lounge.

The food focus will be on fresh, local seasonal produce, reflecting modern trends and delivering a quality to match the venue itself.

As the Bars Manager, you'll work with your Leadership Team to lead a newly formed team of outstanding talent, committed to delivering the very best.

We are looking for someone driven to develop a reputation across the South-West that will attract people to the hospitality on offer, as well as the events themselves.

You'll have a commitment to delivering an outstanding guest experience in your career so far, and you'll have either held Bar Management roles, or have led wet-sale shifts in high volume, top quality settings.

Such high-profile career opportunities come along rarely, and we won't do justice to the opportunity in an advert, so if you're looking to make a name for yourself on a regional, and potentially national stage, get in touch today for a confidential, informal discussion.

You'll have space to deliver a service style in keeping with the modern cultural hub of Bristol, and you'll benefit from the support of a team committed to building something really very special.

This is an opportunity to get in at the start, with training planned for September, with soft launches in October, ready for full service in November.

Base salary is up to £35k for an outstanding person, along with a generous suite of company benefits including pension, life insurance, a wide-ranging discount programme and committed investment in your continued personal development.

This is genuinely a career defining opportunity, so please do make contact today, providing a brief, up to date CV and a short supporting statement outlining your interest in the role.

We'll schedule initial conversations immediately, and your details will only be passed to the client once you confirm you'd like to be considered.

*Please note: Sponsorship is not available for this role, and applicants will need to be able to work in the UK without relying on a sponsorship visa.

Thanks for reading, and good luck!
