About us  ......What we are looking for  - We are looking for a full time Bench joiner/ cabinet maker  to join our team. The applicant MUST have experience in a joinery workshop and know how to use standard wood working machinery and hand tools. The applicant will be making high end furniture from our workshop, fitting the projects will be required with a team. As a bench joiner you will be making kitchens, wardrobes, studies and media units from our workshop in Cobham.

Responsibilities as a Bench Joiner  - Making furniture for clients around Surrey.

• Interpret design drawings and specifications to understand the project requirements
• Operate a variety of woodworking machinery.
• Have own hand tools
• Accurately cut and measure components and have a keen eye for detail.
• Ensure all projects meet quality standards and specifications.
• Collaborate with other team members, including project managers to ensure projects finish on time, and to the clients satisfaction.
• Maintain a safe and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Requirements for the Bench Joiner:

• Experience as a bench joiner or similar role, with a portfolio of work.
• Proficiency in woodworking techniques and familiarity with wood working machinery and hand tools.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings.
• Strong attention to detail, with commitment to producing high quality work.
• Excellent time management
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
