Full Job Description
Job Summary
As a member of the Betting Team, you will be the first point of contact for customers and guests who would like to place a bet. You will be taking bets and ensuring correct pay outs are given. You will be explaining the processes and ensuring all relevant information is given to customers. You will be responsible for engaging with the customer to ensure they enjoy the betting experience.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Taking and processing customer bets through our multiple channels available
- Explaining different bet types
- Clearly communicating answers to customer queries and informing customers about our latest promotions.
- Responsible for all betting operations including opening/closing procedures and cash management procedures
- Ensuring all compliance regulations are adhered to.
- Ability to adapt to different
situations while still staying completely customer obsessed
- Play by the rules by complying with Social Responsibility duties including Think 21 policy
- To comply at all times with Health and Safety regulations and safe working practices in accordance with current legislation and as detailed in the Company’s health and safety policy and procedures.
- Any other duties that may reasonably be required by the Management of Chelmsford City Racecourse.

The ideal candidate:
- Experience of working within a team
- Excellent customer service skills
- High level of personal integrity
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Able to work outside normal offices hours, including evening, weekends and public holidays.
