The role & about the client:
 
On behalf of our client, ITS Construction Professionals South are searching for a Bid/Framework Manager to join an award-winning residential developer in Bournemouth.
 
The Bid/Framework Manager is responsible for managing and developing an operational programme of work through current and future framework portals. You will be responsible for identifying suitable opportunities and compiling all required information to submit successful tenders.
 
From award of contract you will then be responsible for ensuring company policies are implemented, monitored and audited, ensuring resources are adequate for the workload and meeting client needs.
 
The client is ideally looking for someone with existing experience in a similar role however would also be open to speaking with candidates with no experience but who are interested in this type of career path and have suitable commercial qualifications ideally within surveying.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, manage and contribute significantly to bids.
  • Working as part of a pre-construction team delivering high quality bids to customers.
  • Working with estimators, the wider delivery team and our supply chain to ensure compliance against Employers Requirements.
  • Preparing comprehensive optimum tender programmes. logistics plans and qualitative responses.
  • Identifying opportunities within the tender information that will provide the business with a competitive advantage.
The ideal candidate
  • Degree qualified in relation to Construction.
  • Strong experience and knowledge in the construction industry
  • Ability to work flexibly to tight deadlines.
 
Training/Progression opportunities:
  • Dependent on level of experience/entry
Where a range of rate of pay is quoted the level of experience, qualifications & related training required is the minimum required in order to qualify for the lowest rate of pay quoted.
