As a Bid Writer, you will play a pivotal role in our success by:

• Collaborating with our engineering and project management teams to understand project requirements and develop winning bid strategies.
• Researching and analysing tender documents to tailor proposals that address client needs and demonstrate our capabilities.
• Writing and editing high-quality bid content, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and adherence to brand guidelines.
• Managing multiple bids concurrently, meeting deadlines, and maintaining a keen attention to detail throughout the process.

Requirements for a Bid Writer:

• Proven experience in bid writing or proposal development within the civil engineering; water, waste, rail, or tunnelling sectors
• Understanding of commercial aspects including terms and conditions and procurement models used in civil engineering.
• Knowledge of current HSEQ requirements.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and bid management software.
• Exceptional teamwork and communication skills, with a collaborative approach to working across departments.
