Salary: £70,000 - £90,000 (Depending on Experience)

We are currently assisting them in the search for a talented and motivated Bioinformatics Patent Attorney to join their dynamic team.
Position Overview: Our client is seeking a Bioinformatics Patent Attorney with NQ (Newly Qualified) to 2 years PQE (Post-Qualified Experience) to support their growing bioinformatics practice. As a Bioinformatics Patent Attorney in London, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of IP matters related to bioinformatics and biotechnology. This is an exciting role for a legal professional with a passion for science and technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting clients in the preparation, filing, and prosecution of bioinformatics and biotechnology patent applications.
- Conducting patent searches and analyses to assess patentability.
- Drafting patent applications and responses to office actions.
- Providing legal advice on IP strategy and portfolio management.
- Collaborating with clients and inventors to understand their inventions and innovations.
- Keeping up-to-date with developments in bioinformatics and patent law.
Qualifications:
- Newly Qualified (NQ) to 2 years PQE as a Patent Attorney.
- Degree in bioinformatics, biotechnology, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of bioinformatics and biotechnology concepts.
- Knowledge of patent law and the patent application process.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and research abilities.
- A passion for staying current with advancements in science and technology.
