Bookkeeper

Are you a frustrated Bookkeeper / Management Accountant who is not getting the recognition, support, or rewards that you deserve from your present employer, or do you feel that your diligent work gets scant attention from the business owners or managers, or maybe you just never get to the end because people in the team just don't get the details back to you on time so that you can provide useful timely reports.

If that's you, you are the type of person our client is looking for. Someone who takes pride in the accuracy and completion of accounts on time each month.

They are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper / Management Accountant who wants to work in a family run yet World Class Business.  A business that is going places fast and will value the timely accounts so that they can continue making great business decisions. 

This is a key accountancy role that will get you contributing to management meetings and reporting weekly and monthly.

Our clients are market leaders in their field of Manufacturing of Bingo Gaming and Casino Equipment and support services to these industries.

Based at their Sutton Field Offices in Hull this is flexible, 37.5 hours per week by negotiation.  

This role would suit parents with time in between school drops or someone moving towards retirement and wants 2/3 days per week.

The ideal candidate will be well organised and comfortable dealing with financial data. You will be responsible for overseeing the accounts payable and receivable, submitting VAT returns and conducting other tasks related to finance.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Monitor accounts payable and receivable.
  • Preparing and submitting VAT.

Skills / Knowledge:

  • A good knowledge of Google & Microsoft Office suites is essential.
  • Good time management and prioritization skills.
  • Pays attention to details, spots discrepancies and missing information.

  • Able to work on own initiative and in a team environment.

  • Must have a positive and flexible attitude.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Sage online accounts package experience preferred.
  • At least 2 years in a commercial office environment.
