Full Job Description

St. Austell Brewery are seeking an enthusiasticand diligent brewer to join our multi-award-winning production team at StAustell Brewery. You’ll help create our world-renowned beers from grain toglass, including Tribute pale ale, Proper Job IPA, and korev lager, as well asour unique and innovative Small Batch Brews. 

The ideal candidate will be hard-working andcommitted to ensuring our high standards are met across all aspects of thebrewery’s fast-paced working environment, including Health and Safety, HACCP,quality, and communications. 

This exciting role offers variety and a chance todevelop your brewing skills across all aspects of the process, fromfermentation to centrifugation and filtration. You’ll work closely with ourproduction teams (Packaging, Quality, and Engineering) and provide thepackaging lines with finished beer across cask, keg, and bottle. We are lookingfor an experienced Brewer to come and join our team and the salary is dependenton experience and qualifications.  

About You 

  • A positive, enthusiastic, and hands-on approach to completing tasks. 
  • Strong and confident communications skills. 
  • Ability to solve problems in a practical manner. 
  • A desire to learn and develop new skills. 
  • Flexible attitude to work and a passionate team player. 
  • Good knowledge of brewing, fermentation and beer processing gained through brewery production experience. 
  • Ability to work all of the 3 shift pattern (including nights) from Sunday 10pm to Friday 10:30pm on a weekly rotation.

Additional Info

This role will require you to work a three shift pattern: 6am to 2.30pm, 2pm to 10.30pm, and 10pm to 6.30am. You will also be required to work a short weekend rota (paid at time and a half).
