Full Job Description

Are you an experienced Bricklayer with practical site experience and / or relevant qualifications?  To be considered for the role you must live between Huntingdon and South London.

Our client based in Huntingdon is seeking an experienced Bricklayer to join them on a full time permanent basis 8am-4.30pm Monday to Friday. Please note that this role is a PAYE permanent position and cannot be considered as a self-employed or subcontractor role.

As Bricklayer, you will be responsible for brickwork, stonework and blockwork, renewal of foundations and repointing at client sites, site set, clear down and clean up, purchasing and collection of required construction materials, video recording of works with audio commentary before work commencement and on completion, daily assessment of allocated work, completing quality checks, obtaining customer satisfaction sign off, keeping company vehicle clean and roadworthy, site health and safety.

The role will cover work in to the South of London therefore it is essential that you have a full UK driving licence.

To be considered for the role of Bricklayer, you will have 5 years site experience and / or City & Guilds Level 2 Bricklaying qualification and two years practical experience. You will have general building industry knowledge, ability to understand drawings, pc literacy, effective communication skills, working to targets and deadlines, excellent attention to detail.

In return our client will offer a basic salary of £33,280 plus paid travel one way, 28 days paid holiday including statutory holidays, pension scheme, annual performance reviews.
