Fone Central are currently looking for a Business
Administration Apprentice to join their team. We are a small online
technology focused business. We sell across platforms.such as Amazon
and Ebay. One benefit to aspiring young apprentices is thatbecause we
are a small business they will have a great deal of exposure to
themany departments within the business, rather than being situated in
onedepartment throughout their apprenticeship. Not only are we focused
on sellingthe latest technology we also make use of technology in our
day to day runningof the business. Individuals will also come to know
of the various applicationsand software we utilize to make the
business more efficient. The aspiringapprentice will find themselves
immersed in the latest gadgets getting moreinsight into a growing
industry.
Main Duties Include:
- Engaging with customers across all sales
platforms.
- Management of Emails through Applications
such as Reply Manager.
- Customer Service duties
- Assisting with office’s responsibilities.
- Admin duties (photocopying, shredding and faxing)
- Responding to customer emails within a 24 hour service
level agreement (SLA)
- Managing returns process which
will include troubleshooting issues with products as well as
processing refunds directly on eBay and Amazon platforms.
- Advising dispatch team of orders with SKU or delivery
amendments as well as resolving any delivery issues with dispatch
team / the courier / the customer.
- Working with Amazon
customers to remedy any issues which have resulted in a negative
feedback.
- Dealing with customers who visit our offices
to purchase items and processing payments.
- Answering
phone calls from potential customers who may have pre-purchase
questions or wish to make a payment.
- Answering phone
calls from customers who have already purchased a product and have
technical questions regarding their item or have a complaint.
- The candidate will also be asked to list products
on eBay and Amazon using Linnworks as part of their role as back
up for the listing team.
Working hours are Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm.

The successful applicant will complete andobtain a Business
Admin Level 3 qualification through Learning Curve Group andcan also
progress onto a full time position.
You will be
taught through:
- 4-6 Weekly 1-2-1 Sessions with
your tutor
- 6 Weekly Hours Off the Job Training -
No college release day
- Thecourse is a 14 months
programme.
The candidate will have a good
academicrecord, including GCSE’s in Maths and English. The right
individual will beenergetic and passionate about technology as well as
being able to thinkinstinctively about common scenarios and issues
when faced with them.
