About The Logistics Expert Group

The TLX group is the best courier service around because we provide a comprehensive same day courier service for our customers with the very best of service no matter how big or small the job. We are constantly expanding, taking on new businesses regularly.

Main Duties

General Administration

  • Filing and maintaining internal documents
  • Storing and retrieving information
  • Updating and maintaining company database
  • Typing/formatting documents for internal and external purposes
  • Printing and scanning documents
  • Managing in house computer systems

Commercial and Communications andCustomer Service

  • Communicating over the telephone with customers and suppliers
  • Dealing with customer queries
  • Negotiating rates with drivers
  • Managing suppliers

Administration

  • Sending quotes
  • Ensuring the correct documents are received from suppliers
  • Completing compliance administration

Measurement

  • Ensuring that the right “Key Performance Indicators” are tracked and reviewed

­ Teamwork

  • Collaborates­­­ and communicate with the team to improve our business systems, customer service, and profitability

What Apprenticeship Training will you Receive?

The successfulapplic ant will complete and obtain a Level 3 Business Administration Qualification throughLearning Curve Group. 

You will be taughtthrough:

  • 4-6 Weekly 1-2-1 Sessions with your tutor
  • 6 weekly hours of Off The Job Training
  • The course is a 14 month long  programme

Requirements

Desired Skills and Qualities

  • Organising and prioritising workload.
  • Knowledge of standard office equipment
  • IT Literate with a good working knowledge of MS Office, excel, databases and email (preferred) 
  • Special Attributes/Individual Performance Characteristics:
  • Ability to work well within a team

Salary, Hours and Benefits
  • £13,312 per annum
  • Monday to Friday, 9am - 6pm
  • Generous annual leave entitlement
