Full Job Description

Local Homecare is a flourishing care provider currently operating in the Leeds area looking totake on a business admin apprentice to complete their team!

Main Duties

  • Dealing with inbound and outbound phone calls
  • Recruiting new staff including completion ofinterviews
  • Keeping all records up to date
  • Take responsibility for new referrals fromprivate customers and social services teams.
  •   Liaise as necessary with partner professionalsand organisations (e.g. social workers, GPS, nurses) in respect of developingand delivering holistic, person-centred packages of care
  • Organising and supporting with StaffSupervisions and Appraisals

 

Howthe apprenticeship is delivered 

  • 4-6 Weekly1-2-1 Sessions with your tutor
  • 6 WeeklyHours Off the Job Training - No college release day

Workingschedule


  • 37.5 hour working week from 09:00am - 5:00pm, Oncall/ Out of hours duties on a rota basis
  • You will need to have a flexible approach in orderto meet the needs of the business.

Requirements

Personal Requirements

  • The successful candidatemust be able to provide a full checkable work history as well as a satisfactoryDBS check.
  •   Good telephone manner and confidence using thephone
  • A positive team player.
  • Able to work under own initiative and prioritiseworkload.
  • Strong communication

Ideal Qualifications:
  •  Math GCSE or equivalent (Grade 4 or above)
  • English GCSE or equivalent (Grade 4 or above

  Essential

  • Driving license and own vehicle 
  • M ust be able to provide afull checkable work history as well as a satisfactory DBS check.
