Company Overview Teledyne Energetics UK have been designing and developing solutions for the safety, arming, and initiation technology sector since 1984. This includes military energetic devices from components through to complete systems. Some of the flagship product lines include active vehicle safety systems, sea mine fuzes, modular artillery fuzes, flight termination units, electronic Safe & Arm Units, and electronic Ignition Safety Devices. Originally part of the Teledyne e2v family, Teledyne Energetics also delivers a range of services to its global customer base. Design services include modelling and testing of fully packaged circuitry for control and initiation of detonators, which are carried out at our fully licensed site at Lincoln. Position Summary and Responsibilities: We are looking for a Business Administrator who will assist with the smooth running of the business through provision of administration support to a range of business processes. The Business Administrator will be a key member of the team reporting into the General Manager and will work closely with site functional leads. Full training on the range of administration tasks and use of specific software will be provided but the role will benefit from previous experience in the use of a dedicated MRP system such as SAP and general Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook). Main duties and responsibilities of the role will include:
  • Sales Order Administration
  • Arranging meetings to review newly received orders and contracts and to complete the order review checklist
  • Administration of product shipping
  • Administration of customer invoicing
  • Administration of Customer Returns
  • New Product Registration
  • Administration of product and material master data in SAP
  • Preparation of standard product quotations using Excel form and price list information
  • Assisting with Order Scheduling through review of material availability
Essential Skills & Experience, Qualifications:
  • Experience in general use of ERP system
  • Experienced user of Microsoft Office applications
  • Demonstrated ability to organise own time to deliver against business priorities.
Desirable Skills & Experience, Qualifications:
  • Experienced SAP user
  • Sales administration experience including Order Processing, Preparation of Quotations
  • Experienced planner / scheduler in a manufacturing environment
