Inspire Resourcing are currently recruiting a Business/DataAnalyst on behalf of our client in Mansfield.

The successful candidate will work to extract data from various systems and present it, identifying trends and patterns. Their main dutiesinclude identifying, gathering and analysing data and making their insights accessible to the company through easy-to-understandgraphs, charts, tables and reports.

They will be comfortable using data mining to extract information from data sets, identifying patterns and organising information into comprehensible structures. Theywill be able to recommend ways to save money by streamlining business processes and communicate with stakeholders to understand data content.

The role will also include:

• Statistical analysis of data and using data to predict trends
• Identifying opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction
• Working to improve processes in warehousing and logistics

Candidates must be highly competent in Excel, including:

• Data entry and formatting
• Creating simple formulas
• Managing worksheets
• Sorting and filtering data
• Advanced formulas and functions such as VLOOKUP
• Creating charts and graphs
• Using formulas to manipulate basic data
• PivotTables
• Conditional formatting
• Data validation

Desirable skills include competence in:

• Power BI and macros
• Importing external data into Excel
