A genuinely exciting Business Development Director position has arisen with this award-winning workplace design, office interior and interior fit-out company. They are looking for an experienced sales professional with experience of selling workplace design and interior fit-out solutions to join their team. LOCATION: You will cover mainly London and the surrounding area as a territory and will frequently work from the office in South London when not visiting clients and spend one day a week working from home.

SALARY: Circa £70,000 as a basic salary (possibly more for the right person) with an OTE of £110,000 (+), with car allowance/travel allowance, 21 days annual leave (increasing with length of service) and pension.

As Business Development Director you will be selling the design, supply and installation of interior fit-out and workplace design solutions dealing with commercial business, offices, facilities management companies and agents across London.

There are plenty of existing clients within the business for you to farm and generate business from but at this level they would need a proactive salesperson with knowledge, contacts of their own and a proven track record to be able to hit the ground running. Target per annum would be £2million with average project values of £300k with average lead times of 3 to 5 months.

Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years business development, sales experience and a proven track record within the office Interior, interior-fit out, workplace design industry. You will be proactive, forward thinking, knowledgeable with contacts of your own so that you can hit the ground running. You will play a pivotal role within the company, so this is a real opportunity to join and grow the business further!
