We
are seeking a Business Development Executive to join the
Business Development team in London (Canary Wharf). The role will
provide project management and administration support to a highly
experienced team of fundraisers across a diverse portfolio of
corporate, institutional and bilateral donors, you will play a crucial
role in helping them to raise £10million plus annually.
You
will be pro-active, with a problem solving approach and thrive in a
fast-paced environment.
About The Role
As a Business Development Executive at the Thomson Reuters Foundation, you will:
Provide administration, co-ordination and project management across the team
Prepare presentations and reports for potential donors and partners
Monitor and log income on the Salesforce database
Maintain a Salesforce pipeline of current and potential funders and be the lead for coordinating the pipeline process for the Business Development team
Conduct research into new income and partnership opportunities
Support the creation of creative and winnable funding applications
Support the project management and logistical support of Trust Conference sponsors
Be the lead focal point in the Business Development team for financial administration issues, and implementation of financial tasks such as raising sales orders, invoicing and supporting the finance team with monthly reconciliation
Take forward ad hoc projects for Business Development
About You
To be our Business Development Executive , you will likely have:
Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to manage a variety of stakeholders and tasks
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to reach and influence a wide range of audiences (internal/external)
Strong organisational, project and time management skills with the ability to use own initiative, prioritise and demonstrate a problem-solving approach
Demonstrable ability to work collaboratively across teams
Fluent in English (verbal and written)
Strong communication and IT skills
Excellent knowledge across the suite of Microsoft Office applications
A passion for Human Rights, Inclusive Economies and Media Freedom
Experience working in an international development organisation is desirable
Experience using Salesforce is desirable
