Visiting Angels Berkshire - Business Development Executive NEEDED!


Visiting Angels Slough is a domiciliary care company in and around Berkshire.


We provide high-quality care and support for vulnerable people who wish to remain living in their own homes.

What are we looking for?


We seek an experienced and enthusiastic Business Development Executive, ideally in the care sector, who would be responsible for business development and generating referrals to get new client leads. We ideally would like someone who is visibly presentable, with a warm approach and interpersonal skills.


Roles & Responsibilities:


The Executive's specific duties shall include, but not be limited to, the following;


  • Market and promote the business within our territory through a variety of networking and other activities.
  • Identify and grow local networks for referrals and seek opportunities for promotion such as the local press and local events.
  • Generate leads for the business to grow. Being knowledgeable about products and services offered by the business.
  • Have good communication skills and can hold a conversation effectively.
  • Research, schedule and successfully execute regular community marketing events including fairs, exhibitions and any other events that would promote our services to the community.
  • Present and speak at events representing the Visiting Angels Home Care brand. Raising the company profile by attending expositions and seminars (physical and online).
  • Identifying and mapping business strengths and customer needs.
  • The ability to conduct research and communicate effectively is essential.
  • Report regularly to the Managing Director at meetings.
  • Writing reports and updating/analysing relevant CRM data. Presenting findings to the team and executive members of staff to drive growth.
  • Maintain records and create reports as may be required by the Managing Director.
  • To respect and protect all confidential and commercially sensitive information.
  • ·Promote a positive image and protect the good reputation of the company at all times.
  • Attend training days/courses as determined by your line manager to develop your skill set.
  • Maintain and improve professional knowledge and competence.
  • Support the business by undertaking additional areas of work to achieve the aims of the business.
  • Organising, promoting and attending networking events in all of your covered areas.

Requirements:

  • MUST HAVE UK DRIVING LICENCE AND ACCESS TO OWN CAR
  • DBS CHECK
  • References available on request
  • Must have experience in business development
  • You can only apply for this vacancy if you are over 18


Job Type: Full-time


Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year, dependant on experience

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 am - 5.30 pm


Supplemental pay types: Performance bonus


  • Work Location: Slough and covering other nearby areas in Berkshire.
