Job Title: Business Development Manager - Road Freight

Location: Nationwide (Remote)

Salary/Rate: £50,000 - £60,000/annum + Car Allowance and 25% Bonus

Position Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to join the team. As a pivotal member of our sales force, you will be responsible for expanding our market presence and driving revenue growth in the road freight sector. While our operations are based in Yorkshire, this position offers the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets for road freight services.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and networking efforts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including potential clients and industry partners.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive threats.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions that meet client requirements and drive value.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
