Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Drive business development efforts with a focus on merchant acquiring and high-risk merchant solutions within the payment services sector.
- Cultivate strong relationships with existing and potential partners in a B2B capacity, emphasizing merchant acquisition.
- Lead negotiations and prepare compelling pitches and proposals tailored to the needs of merchants in high-risk sectors such as gambling and forex.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities and develop prospect pipelines within target sectors.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align strategies and effectively manage projects related to payment solutions and services.
- Occasional travel required to oversee on-site exhibition areas throughout the UK and Europe.
Requirements:
- Have a minimum of 5+ years payments sales experience (PSP/Acquiring)
- A collaborative team player committed to driving success in the merchant acquiring landscape within a B2B framework.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to build strong and collaborative relationships across various business units.
- Proven experience in commercial partnerships and sales within the fintech sector, with expertise in merchant acquiring and high-risk merchant solutions.
- Confidence in initiating prospective partnerships, with a track record of successful collaboration in the financial services industry.
- Collaboration with partnership managers to develop accounts, identify opportunities, and address challenges effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills, adept at building internal and external relationships.
