A fast growing, well-established industry accredited, packaging company are on the hunt for an outstanding Business Development Manager. They manufacture high-performance sustainable packaging solutions and products. Following the appointment of a new Sales Director, they want to build a team and involve you in future sales strategies and reward you well for your success. If you have a passion for sustainable products and see this USP as potential to build pipeline they will provide you with all the tools to understand their product range. 

As Business Development Manager , you will be responsible for:

  • Developing a strategic and tactical model business plan with long term sustainability.
  • Identifying and sourcing new opportunities by targeting new markets or new demographics.
  • Negotiating new contracts with suppliers or customers on behalf of the company 
  • Improving long term client relations alongside growing key accounts. 
  • Generate sales with existing and new customers through a structured, disciplined, and professional approach to achieve results.
  • Experience within the packaging industry.
  • Ability to work independently and use own initiative to create new opportunities.
  • Proven ability to develop good working relationships at all levels.
  • A confident and highly motivated self-starter.
  • Strong honest work ethic with the drive to thrive in a demanding sales environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Passion for sustainability.
