 Role Description 

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our construction company.

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue growth. This is a key role within our organisation and offers the opportunity to make a significant impact. We are looking for someone with experience within the construction industry and a proven track record of successful business development strategies.

About the role: 

• Identify and develop new business opportunities through research and networking 

• Develop and implement strategic business plans to expand the company's client base and market presence 

• Use lead generation companies and tools to look for new projects and gather information of potential clients 

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs promoting what the company can do for their projects 

• Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to prospective clients 

• Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets 

• Provide regular updates on sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts 

• Collaborate with the construction project management team to ensure seamless transition from business development to project execution 

• Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, proposals, negotiations, and throughout the project

Requirements 

• Proven Experience within the Design & Build sector.

• At least 5+ years’ experience in a business development or senior sales role within construction Industry 

• Proven experience in business development and sales within the construction industry 

• Strong communication and negotiation skills 

• Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients 

• Knowledge of the construction industry 

•Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities 

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team 

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software 

• Experience in project management 

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field 

• Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset
