Business Development Manager - Field Based
£25,000 - £32,000 + Commission
Location: Flexible (West Midlands)
Full time – Permanent

MET Recruitment is currently representing a leading supplies business seeking a dynamic Sales Executive with proven expertise in workwear and PPE. This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving team and contribute to continued growth in the industry.

What’s in it for you?

  • Mon – Thu: 08:30 am – 5:30 pm | Fri: 08:30 am – 5:00 pm
  • £25,000 to £ 32,000 depending on experience.

What will you be doing?

  • Develop new and existing business by prospecting, nurturing, and managing your own sales pipeline to consistently achieve monthly targets.
  • Establish and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, utilising a consultative approach to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales account managers and customer service, to identify new opportunities and enhance customer relations.
  • Demonstrate a proactive and positive attitude, embodying the ethos of our forward-thinking client.
  • Drive personal and professional growth, displaying determination to build a successful career within the organisation.

What we’re looking for:

  • Demonstrated experience in workwear and PPE sales.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and communicate effectively.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently while also contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  • Willingness to adapt and learn in a fast-paced, dynamic industry.
  • This role is field based and requires a driving licence.
