Full Job Description

The Business Development/ Account Manager is responsible for delivering JCDecaux campaigns for first group in your geographical area. The focus is to build new client partnerships and generate incremental revenue opportunities.

What you'll be doing...

  • Build and grow a diverse portfolio of first group, with a key focus on creating relationships and new business opportunities.

  • Understand and excel in the JCDecaux full sales cycle from lead sourcing to final solution and handling the sales pipeline.

  • Be at the forefront of the trends, innovations, mergers and acquisitions, new product development and emerging brands across your agencies and the OOH marketplace.

  • Act as an ambassador for business development across the digital and classic portfolio; taking on shared responsibility for understanding and sharing the JCDecaux narrative on Programmatic Digital OOH

  • Manage tenders and the pitch process; ensuring every tender and pitch is unique and relevant to the client, are of consistently high quality; utilise existing experience, marketing and insight from within the business.

  • Identify your agency clients’ business objectives, to build tailored proposals that deliver a sustainable campaign model for long term clients. All proposals will include relevant, insightful and engaging business solutions to influence the client’s media decisions, requiring an understanding of our data sets.

  • Strong product knowledge to effectively sell and upsell based on client purpose and needs.

We need you to forge Productive relationships, leading the relationship development of first group. Identifying and building relationships and networking with business partners by attending events, networking sessions and hosting meetings to raise JCDecaux’s profile externally, is an essential part of this role.

A little bit about you...

You are an experienced sales person that consistently exceeds KPI targets. Skilled in building new relationships you also have an ability to convert new business relationships into sales revenue.

You have a high standard for insight, proposals and campaigns delivered to the client, and can demonstrate authoritative knowledge on both client business issues and objectives, and JCDecaux’s diverse portfolio. You are skilled at identifying potentials issues to ensure that time sensitive solutions and ideas are communicated to clients.

You are a creative problem solver, with an agile approach which allows you to deliver timely solutions to complex briefs.

Able work proactively, you thrive in an autonomous environment; a self-manager who drives performances constantly evolving and dynamic marketplace.

Holding strong Communication and social skills, you are able to drive value-adding business conversations with clients, posses strong questioning and listening skills, and visualise the big picture, to look at long term sustainable campaign plans and are an effective networker and engaging presenter.

  • A background from a Media brand with a proven track record of consistently exceeding individual targets in a Sales role.

  • A consistent record in sales, building new business and growing existing client spend within specified revenue categories.
