Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Consultant to join our team. The consultant will collaborate with business stakeholders to understand business needs, analyze and document business & data processes, translate requirements into technical specifications, and support the implementation and testing of data solutions. The person will be required to travel extensively to Germany and Italy for the requirement gathering sessions with stakeholders and closely work with the Solution Architect to shape up the overall Data architecture.

The potential candidate should be able to analyze data and come up with insights as required, provide end-user training regarding the learnings from the project, and create comprehensive documentation. Must have strong communication skills, stakeholder management requirement gathering, data profiling and analysis, and familiarity with database concepts are added advantage

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements
• Analyse and document business processes
• Translate business needs into technical specifications for development teams
• Liaise with stakeholders and development teams
• Assist in the implementation and testing of data solutions
• Documentation of new processes and system setups
• Develop test cases and conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet requirements
• Generate insights and recommendations from data analysis
• Contribute to the development of business strategies based on data-driven insights
• Provide training and support to end-users on new systems or processes
• Document data flows and generate reports
• Create detailed documentation including business requirements, process flows, use cases, and user stories.
• Strong communication skills (verbal/written) to deliver technical insights and interpret the data reports to the clients. 
• Interpret written business requirements and technical specification documents
• Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., SQL)
• Familiarity with database concepts and understanding of schemas

Eligibility Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a related role.
• Proficiency in requirement-gathering techniques, process modelling, and documentation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of relevant tools such as Microsoft Visio, JIRA, Confluence, etc.
• Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) is advantageous.
• Experience in specific industries such as Media, and subscriber-based business.
• Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python) is optional
• Understanding of cloud computing platforms (e.g.GCP) will be added advantage
