What does the Data and Tech team do?

This role is part of the Technology team. This team is responsible for all Adtech and Martech projects internally and for clients. The team designs, builds and maintains data solutions across multiple mSix clients. MSix’s main data centre is Google Cloud Platform (GCP), where media performance data is extracted from media platforms into mSix’s GCP usin g in-house python APIs. This data is then transformed in Big Query using SQL, where it is then used to power multiple reporting solutions, including Power BI, Tableau and Data Studio dashboards.           

What will be your responsibilities?           

-           Lead a data executive to develop and maintain cloud ETL processes designed to provide a reporting infrastructure for various  mSix clients. This involves transforming data in Big Query using SQL and creating bespoke dashboards in multiple data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Looker)           

-           Support with the development of in-house Marketing python APIs for media performance and web analytics data.           

-                     

-           Identify, recommend, and implement data improvement opportunities and provide technical and troubleshooting support to the agency.           

-           Provide advice on reporting capabilities by completing API, naming convention and data audits.             

Who are you?           

-   Proven experience in business intelligence and/or data engineering using SQL and python           

-           B ackground in cloud computing ( preferably Google Cloud Platform and BigQuery . Azure and AW S tech stacks also desirable)           

-     Front end data visualisation experience – Power BI , Tableau, Data Studio desirable .           

-           Maths/Data/ Computing or related field undergraduate degree preferrable . Marketing degrees also acceptabl e.           

-           Experience managing and project management           

-      Knowledge of the media landscape /common media data sources d esirabl e             

How will success in this role be measured?           

·           Delivery of all projects to time and in full           

·           Maintain cloud platforms with no downtime           

·           Build success relationships with internal teams & clients
