Your New Role…

The Business & Sales Graduate Interns will support Warner Bros. Discovery team to identify areas of business development and support sales teams to maximise revenue. 

There are a variety of Graduate roles within the Business & Sales division, therefore the below job description is not exhaustive of all activities you may undertake during your internship.

Your Role Accountabilities…

  • Maintain and distribute weekly distribution & inventory reports providing relevant insight and analysis for the department and the wider business. 
  • Gathering market insights and viewing data and sharing relevant ideas and sales opportunities with the wider teams.  
  • Assisting in the planning, approval and submission process of future promotional plans across multiple digital platform Store fronts.  
  • Collate & manage calendars of drafting opportunities from TV schedules, events & social media activity.
  • Responsible for Amazon Advanced Pre-Order (APO) set up, maintaining a master tracker, and working with the Amazon Sales Account team to ensure all queries are resolved and Amazon shows the correct information. 
  • Campaign set-up within ad-serving platforms such as Google Ad Manager, Meta Ads Manager and Freewheel
  • Assisting in the setup of suppliers and coding of invoices. 
  • Preparing expense reports and reconciling payments. 
  • Support teams to build media plans.

Qualifications & Experience…

  • You must be a recent university graduate, having graduated no earlier than July 2022.   
  • Passionate about Media and our WBD content.
  • Well organised and disciplined with the ability to plan and prioritise workload effectively, excellent attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (Pivots, Lookups, Formulas).
  • Confident with numbers and analytics, with the ability to learn sales planning & tracking tools (Salesforce, Tableau & Storefront).
  • Good awareness and knowledge of social media platforms.
  • Some commercial awareness and understanding of Supply Chain is beneficial.
  • Additional platform knowledge is a plus but not essential (Google Ads Manager, Meta Ads Manager, Google Analytics, Monday.com).

The Internship...

  • Salary: £27,000
  • Contract Length: 12 months
  • Start Date: Likely to be 9th September 2024
  • You will gain hands-on experience working on business-critical projects. 
  • You will have access to personal and professional development courses, executive speakers’ series, special screenings and more. 
  • You will be part of our Early Talent network of over 100 interns & apprentices, meaning you will have an important support network of other students, graduates and apprentices and plenty of opportunities to socialise!   

Next Steps…  

  • Stage 1: Submit your CV by Sunday 17th March (you will not be able to apply after this date). 
  • Stage 2: For eligible candidates, you will be invited to complete a written questionnaire in HireVue. The deadline for this is Sunday 24th March.
  • Stage 3: Pre-recorded video interviews via HireVue will be sent out, to be completed in April. 
  • Stage 4: Assessment Centres & Interviews will take place May-June.
