This role seeks a dedicated and enthusiastic Purchasing professional who is keen on developing their career within the Industrial / Manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for purchasing goods, materials, and services to ensure the company's operational needs are met.

Description

• Procure goods, materials, and services to meet the company's requirements.
• Manage supplier relationships and maintain good communications.
• Monitor market trends, competitor strategies and market suppliers.
• Prepare purchase orders and contracts in line with company policies.
• Negotiate contracts, improve prices and terms of business with suppliers.
• Review opportunities to make business savings utilising negotiation and procurement best practices.
• Ensure compliance with the company's procurement policies and procedures.

Profile

A successful Buyer should have:

• Proven experience in a procurement role
• An understanding of Purchasing within Supply Chain
• Desire to learn and be mentored to grow their skills
• Negotiation skills and the ability to develop and maintain supplier relationships.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
