Buyer
Inspire Resourcing are working closely with our client in Sheffield who are on the lookout for a Buyer to join the team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an induvial with excellent analytical skills, who has a background in liaising with suppliers.
Main duties:
* Conduct research to identify the best available products and potential vendors
* Select vendors that meet technical, quality and commercial requirements, ensuring selection conforms to the company's purchasing strategy
* Invite prospective vendors to bid, ensuring that all customer requirements are effectively communicated
* Analyse vendor offers to ensure their viability and to identify any potential risks
* Liaise with vendors to maintain strong relationships to ensure that they are providing the best possible levels of support
* Maintain an accurate and up to date vendor database for Commercial projects
* Drive automation and simplification within our processes
* Accept direct responsibility for the completion of projects in line with agreed priorities and deadlines
To apply you will ideally:
* Have experience of working in a demanding and fast-paced distribution environment
* Be confident, with excellent interpersonal skills
* Have excellent MS Office skills
Circa £30k - £35k
Inspire Resourcing also recruit for a variety of other roles in areas such as Sales, Marketing, Purchasing, Finance, Export / Import, Production and Engineering
