Due to ongoing success and continuing growth, Veolia is expanding its Engineering capability within the Technical Direction Energy Team. This CAD & BIM Manager position is suited to a candidate that is looking to take on more responsibility and further develop their skills within the industrial and low carbon energy sector. They will be committed to implementing BIM within Veolia and managing the CAD Team in order to deliver an outstanding service in the creation of mechanical & electrical engineering drawing packages to enable the successful installation, commissioning and operation of a wide range of low carbon energy technologies.

What you'll be doing;

  • Be responsible for the management and day-to-day coordination of a team of CAD & BIM technicians and engineers, with responsibility for development of system models through the use of various AutoDesk packages such as AutoCAD, Plant 3D, Revit and BIM360.

  • Provide strategic oversight and direction in the implementation of BIM systems of work and the advantages that can be brought to the business.

  • Ensuring the CAD Team delivers high quality work inline with internal procedures and relevant technical standards in a timely manner.

  • Liaise with internal teams to discuss ideas and project timelines

  • Contribute to the design of low carbon or carbon energy saving projects

  • This role offers the opportunity to work with multiple disciplines (mechanical, electrical and civil) as well as the opportunity to work on projects across multiple industries, such as municipal, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, health care etc.

What we're looking for;

  • HND or equivalent within engineering

  • Recognised CAD / BIM Qualification

  • Previous CAD Management experience

  • Proficient knowledge of installations of energy systems

  • Excellent knowledge of Revit, BIM 3D Modelling and AutoCAD
