MEP / Building Services / Consultancy / CAD Technician / Revit

This role is to join a national, dynamic multi-disciplinary property and construction consultancy, providing a wide range of services across the majority of industry sectors including commercial, health, education, defence, residential and community.

Services include architecture, building surveying, building services engineering, planning, interior design, sustainability, civil and structural engineering, quantity surveying, project management, CDM and health and safety services.

CAD Technician Role Responsibilities

• The role will involve providing CAD Technician support to the M&E team and wider practice.
• Develop M&E scheme designs to detail design stage using Auto Cad under direction of M&E Engineers.
• Produce working drawing packages for tender and construction purposes to the required standard.
• Liaise with other consultants and contractors as appropriate.
• Carry out measured surveys of buildings when directed.
• Attend site meetings as appropriate.

Skills & Experience Required

• 2 years’ experience of using AutoCAD and working in a Building Services Consultancy.
• Understanding of the built environment and how buildings are constructed.
• Knowledge of M&E engineering services.
• Relevant qualification (HNC or above), or experience.
• Revit and BIM knowledge – desirable.
