Our client are a large Engineering Consultancy with an excellent
reputation for quality work and an amazing work environment. They
pride their work quality on the basis of their work environment,
allowing the teams to excel in their specialities.
They are
currently looking for experienced CAD technicians to work alongside
one of their largest clients, designing Overhead power cable designs.
Their Transmission and Distribution team is growing quickly over the
last decade and have won several new contracts.
The ideal
candidate will need experience with AutoCad & Microstation as this is
the main software they use. You will be carrying out Draughting
activities and therefore need 3D draughting experience. Experience
with Overheadlines would be great, however a willingness to learn new
skills would also be highly desirable.
Our client offer a
great package including a salary of between £34,000 & £38,000. You
will work with some of the UK's key clients in this industry. Worki9ng
in an established team with a great track record.
Objectives
·Liaise with the (Overhead Lines) OHL engineers to make sure the
CAD deliverables are accurate and complete.
·Produce the models
then drawings on HV OHL projects as directed by the project lead.
·Assist with the improvements of team processes and procedures.
·Work at being the best at your role daily and promoting this team
culture.
Requirements
·HNC / HND required.
·Engtech
MIET or MICE - or working towards it (Desirable).
·AutroCAD 2D &
3D software experience.
·Knowledge of Revit Autodesk and Bentley
Microstation.
·Experience within the HV sector (Desirable).
