CAD Technician

Full Job Description

Just Recruitment is working with a growing organisation based in Ipswich looking to add a CAD Technician to their team.

This role offers an exciting and challenging opportunity to provide support to Clients and Area Technical Sales Managers, involving the production of technical drawings, and the checking and processing of technical documentation and calculations within a specialised environment.

Duties include:

* Produce, check and process incoming drawing requests, technical documentation and calculations
* Liaison with clients and Area Technical Managers
* Understanding of Industry Codes of Practice & Building Regulations
* Team orientated approach - work as part of a busy, professional, integral team
* Dealing with telephone and email enquiries
* Checking and understanding specification construction, survey reports and construction drawings
* General administration

Key attributes:

* Working knowledge of waterproofing systems and their construction advantageous
* Technically minded, logical and precise, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
* Analytical approach
* Able to read and understand architectural drawings
* Approachable and diplomatic
* Excellent communication skills/ personable manner
* Basic level of CAD is essential
